Another Website That Caught My Eye

I was exploring some of the eavy metal/ golden demon painters websites and came across this. Minivault is a website by golden demon painter,Thomas Schadle. He won the slayer sword and won gold in golden demon competitions 25 times in europe. And by looking at his site, you can see why.

I was exploring some of my fellow blogger's blogs and found these, Dave Taylor 40k squad golden demon entry. I am a huge fan of the ultramarines......well, I should be. I play an ultramarines army for about 3 years. So anyway, I thought I'd put them up for others to see The colors of the chapter and Dave's awesome painting. Notice the tyranic war conversions.

Gamesday Armylist Revised

I got a lot done today. I was able to finish my rhino and tactical sq. However, I still have a death company sq. , an assault squad, predator and a vindicator to do. The tac. sq. took me about 2 days to finish, so I dont think I will be able to finish it all by Friday night. So I dropped the assault squad. Now the list looks like this:

1) (HQ)Captian with power weapon, combi melta and jump pack

2) ( TROOP) Death Company x5 with power weapon, 2 power fists and 2 CCW's, jump packs

3) (TROOP) 10 man tactical sq. with heavy bolter and meltagun in a rhino with extra armor

Now that I got the compulsory units down, I can get some more stuff........

6) Vindicator with hunter k. missiles and siege shield

7) Predator with autocannon and lascannon sponsons, hunter killer miss.

I'll try my best to get the predator done in time, but no promises. The new death company aren't really easy to paint. But if I rush the vindicator in today I could probably get most of the tank done. It could happen. Anyway, gamesday is in 2 days. Ill be leaving for Baltimore Friday night so for the next two days, I'll be pretty busy, which means I probably wont be able to post anymore posts till Sunday. I would just like to wish everyone a safe trip over and a fun weekend.

Ultradude at Gamesday 2010

This August 21st is the 2010 Baltimore Gamesday and I will be going. Last year, I brought my orks to play against jawaballs and fritz. But it was my first time going and instead, I explored the con. But this year, I will try to face-off. Fritz recently posted a video saying that they will be hosting an apocalypse game and to bring an army that is PAINTED and follow the force org. rules. I have the army and now I have to paint it. Here is the list:

Compulsory

1) (HQ)Captian with power weapon, combi melta and jump pack

Extra

4) Assult sq. with Sanguinary preist on foot with rhino

5) Predator with autocannon and lascan sponsons and hunter k. missile

6) Vindicator with hunter k. missiles and seige sheild


It's all about 1000 pts.
